The CEO of NAB (Phil Chronican) was questioned about how a $40 million fraud case went undetected for years, until a bank staff member blew the whistle. He said he was “distinctly unhappy” to learn of the alleged fraud and organisation needed much tighter approach to discipline on every element of the business.
