Victoria Police Investigators' Development Course
The Victoria Police Centre for Investigator Training (DTS) is conducting a 10 day Investigators' Development Course open to both government and private investigators commencing on the 15th November, 2010. The course is being held at the Airlie Police College, Leadership and Development Centre which is situated at 260 Domain Road, South Yarra.
Students attending this course will receive tuition in contemporary investigation methodology and the legislative framework surrounding investigative practice. Cognitive interviewing techniques, together with interactive practical learning exposure are utilised extensively during the course with a view to expose participants to practical conundrums whilst maintaining relevancy to their investigative vocation.
The course curriculum also provides for a full day visit to the Victoria Forensic Science Centre which is accompanied by presentations from the relevant practitioners from the specialist sections including DNA, document examination, fingerprints.
The cost per person attending this 10 day course is $4800.00 (including GST). This incorporates all tuition costs; bound comprehensive notes; all lunches, morning teas and a formal course dinner and liaison function.
