The AIPI is led by a Board of Directors, commonly known as the Executive Committee.

Under the Constitution, the Directors are the Presidents of each Chapter, with the National President being elected from this body. The National President also carries out the role of Chairman of meetings.

Each Chapter will normally have a Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary, to assist the President with the operation of the Chapter. In addition, the Chapters are entitled to form Committees to assist in the development and services to their members.
