The Australian Institute of Professional Investigators aims to be the premier organisation representing Australiasia's professional investigators, throughout both government and private sector organisations.
This website was launched in December 2006 and has been designed to assist members and the public. New and improved sections include:

- News (including a subscriber based Enewsletter) and
- Links to industry information both in Australia and Overseas.
- Education (information on courses being offered around Australia)
