A family in the US is suing Princess Cruises for more than $1.6 million for “recklessly” failing to alert passengers to the risk of exposure to coronavirus on the Ruby Princess. The ship is now the subject of a police investigation and a separate independent inquiry. The case against Princess Cruises is based on a claim of corporate gross negligence.
