Recent cases suggest that much of the forensic evidence we’ve come to accept in the courtroom may actually be far less reliable than we think. Article states that courts haven’t been very good at regulating both the admissibility and the use, and explaining the limitations, of forensic science evidence. Also many of the forensic sciences, and particularly the ones out of police laboratories, have not come from mainstream science.
