Female Ambulance Victoria paramedics have been told not to have children if they want their career to progress and that they’re no use in intensive care units once they have ‘‘ used their uterus’’. Article tells that claims of sex discrimination, sexual harassment and gender-based bullying is widespread in the ambulance service.

Court freezes funds and suspends websites for suspected fraudulent investment businesses – 26 October 2020
The Maxwell Financial Services website established by Mr Matthew Berestford stated that its representatives held an Australian financial services licence (AFSL) and that the business was associated with ASIC and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). ASIC alleges that these representations are false and that the business has been operating without the necessary AFSL. ASIC also alleges that a significant amount of money raised from retail investors has been dissipated.

Senior employees from Victoria’s regional train service V/Line will appear before Victoria’s anti-corruption commission, as senior insiders say the alleged corruption of cleaning contracts which are the subject of the probe, are just one of a number of problems in the organisation.
‘Time for a clean out’: ASIC and Australia Post scandals rock public executives – 24 October 2020
The government is drawing up terms of reference for an investigation into Australia Post after Senate estimates heard on Thursday that its chief executive Christine Holgate spent $19,950 on Cartier watches as rewards for four employees. Ms Holgate had previously spent $300,000 on corporate credit cards and chauffeur-driven cars in the 2019/20 financial year.
