The U.S. Treasury Department’s Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence stated that the cryptocurrency industry must have standards and regulations, to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

Victorian banker jailed for $640k fraud – 13 May 2019
A former Victorian banker who defrauded NAB of more than $640,000 has been jailed. Andrew Matthews, 38, exploited the bank’s “introducer” scheme, using it to funnel commission money to himself and a friend between 2012 and 2016.
