Coronavirus in Australia: Warning over scam phishing email targeting most vulnerable during pandemic – 5 May 2020
A fraudulent email, which appears to come from Services Australia, targets vulnerable Australians who are seeking welfare payments. The phishing email asks for personal and financial information including a person’s first and last name, date of birth, tax file number and address.
Chemring secures global F-35 countermeasures contract – 4 May 2020
Chemring Australia manufactures air-launched countermeasures against sophisticated electronic systems. They have recently secured a US$107.5 million contract for the production and delivery of countermeasure flares for Australian, US and international F-35 operators, making it a significant milestone for Australia’s defence industry.
