Queensland’s former chief scientist jailed for lavish fraud – 1 May 2020
A senior Queensland public servant Suzanne Miller, who was the state’s former chief scientist, has been jailed for using taxpayer funds for personal spending. In addition to misusing the credit card, Miller benefitted from the payment of about $45,000 in health insurance premiums she wasn’t entitled to receive.

Sydney elderly residents have allegedly had personal information and large quantities of money stolen from them. Two men have been charged with dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception.

About 17,000 NSW Police Officers will soon use Mark43’s Records Management System (RMS) and its Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software. The system claims to keep first responders safer and better informed, by giving them as much information as possible, including recent crimes and events in the area.
